Policy Priorities

Amanda Chaffin prioritizes increased support for local police, fire, and emergency services, ensuring they have the resources necessary to keep our community safe.  Citizens should feel safe visiting parks and businesses outdoors anytime of the day or night.

Streamline Permitting Process: Simplify and enhance the efficiency of the permitting process to reduce barriers for small businesses in Norman.  Encourage citizens in Ward 7 to shop local. 

Amanda understands firsthand that many residents have children with special needs. Having experienced accessibility issues with her own son, she is committed to promoting accessibility for children with disabilities in our community
